if there is one school that can make you or break you, then it is this one. if you're in the manhattan school of the arts then you're here for two reasons - daddy had the money to pay your way in or you have some of the best talents for somebody of your age. to make it here, you have to know who you can trust, who you can't and how to keep your head above water. be careful when you're letting your secrets out; walls can have ears (connected to big mouths) and you might just be giving somebody the knife to stab you in the back with. every weekend there's at least one party being thrown somewhere around the city, a detailed description of what happened usually plastered all over the school's gossip column the following monday morning. some kids skip classes to spend the time getting drunk or high on campus and the teachers don't care because they believe that if it helps them to 'express their individuality' then they should simply be left to get on with it. if you can make it in this school then you don't need to worry about your future at all, because it's guaranteed to be a major success. the moment your guard slips and you let everything get the better of you, kiss your dreams goodbye.
